Schizzi paper contains 20% of cotton fibers and is made on a traditional cylinder mould machine. This ancient process replicates the typical characteristics of handmade paper allowing the fibers (cotton and pure alpha-cellulose in the case of Schizzi paper) to spread gently and randomly to form a soft and homogeneous sheet of paper: Schizzi paper is stronger – more resistant to tearing and erasing. Schizzi is of Archival quality (long-life certified), in other words it will age beautifully without turning yellow over time and respecting the color perception of your work. The touch and feel of the paper are unique thanks to the subtle combination of cotton content associated to natural rough surface. Ideal for detailed and rough sketches as well as for creating subtle graduation. You can use Fabriano Schizzi with pencils, charcoals, or even colored pencils.
