ellylike medium for “soft” painting with oil colors. Improves flow and reduces brush stroke; accelerates drying highly; increases gloss and transparency. There is no change of the product quality based on the color change of the raw material alkyd resin. Shake well and stir – if necessary – before use. Close immediately after use. Dosage: 10 to max. 20%.Thinner: Turpentine substitute

Liquid medium for mixing oil colours with water instead of turpentine or turpentine substitute. Increases gloss and transparency; harmonizes drying process; odourless. Shake before use. Mix 2 parts of oil colour and 1 part of medium W on a palette, than add water like you want; if necessary add more medium W. Painting tools can be cleaned with water. There is no change of the product quality based on the color change of the raw material alkyd resin. Dosage: 50%.

A “neutral”, nearly non-yellowing painting- and thinning medium for oil colours. Applicable for all painting techniques except for ground motifs on slightly absorbent undergrounds (not “lean” enough); has only a low impact on drying time. For dilution use terpin (max. 30%). Dosage: 10 to max. 20%.

Very fast drying medium for oil colours. Especially recommended for prima painting, transparency painting, and also for the application of upper colour layers on already dried layers; increases gloss and transparency. Quick application is necessary as the mixture dries fast on the pallet. Close immediately after use. Dosage: 10 to max. 20%.

Especially refined (winterized and bleached) linseed oil. Binding component for oil colours and oil painting mediums; binder for own production of non-white oil colours.

Linseed oil boiled with oil-soluble siccatives. A little more yellowing than linseed oil and stand linseed oil; dries faster than linseed oil and stand linseed oil. Binding component for oil colours and oil painting mediums; binder for own production of non-white oil and tempera colours.

Bleached poppy oil. Less yellowing than linseed oil; slower drying than linseed oil varnish, linseed oil and stand linseed oil. Binding component for oil colours and oil painting mediums; binder for own production of white oil colours. Attention: Use only sparingly and always in combination with sunflower- or linseed oil!

A clear oil medium to mix with and reduce light colors. Less inclined to yellow than Linseed Oil, but slower drying. Enhances gloss and flow, but too high a proportion prevents the color from thorough drying.

Daler Rowney Oil Painting Medium is the ideal all-purpose painting medium. It is formulated from mixture of Linseed Stand Oil, White Spirit and Oil of Spike Lavender. When mixed with oil colour it will dry to a tough, elastic film. This medium is very easy to handle, so would be a great choice for beginners. It also creates an excellent glaze. Available in a 75ml bottle

Daler Rowney's Linseed Stand Oil reduces the consistency of oil colours and enhances flow. This medium is viscous and dries slowly to a tough elastic film. It is faster drying than pure Linseed Oil. It also reduces brush marks in your paint film.

Slightly thinner than Liquin or other Alkyd gel mediums, it increases the transparency and flow of oil colour, allowing paint to be brushed out more smoothly. Alkyd flow medium reduces drying time.

Daler Rowney Water Mixable Linseed Oil reduces the consistency of your oil colours and slows down their drying time. Used straight from the bottle, this oil will give your paint a high gloss finish.

This medium along with the entire range of water-mixable oil paints and mediums lets artists experience a new way of oil painting which doesn't require smelly and harmful solvents. The solvent-free medium makes it easy to mix and blend colours, as well as wash the paint using water, it also makes paint glossier adding a glaze finish to create deep paintings.
