Acid-free paper sheets for sketching with charcoal, pastel and graphite.

Natural white, acid free, lightfast and extremely age resistant. Finely woven texture, slightly rough, excellent properties for dry and wet painting techniques. The hard surface gives distinct colour flow.

This heavy weight, supple board is ideal for all forms of intaglio and lithography applications. The board’s matt, smooth, life-like surface produces particularly effective prints.

Hahnemühle FineArt has designed a special paper for Japanese sumi-e painting. This very absorbent paper is ideal for "freestyle" brush painting. "sumi" means "black ink" and "e" means both "path" and "painting". The natural white paper creates strong contrasts as the brush glides across the surface. Sumi-e is acid free and extremely age resistant.

Britannia is particularly well suited for watercolour (wet-in-wet, smooth wash and dry painting), as well as gouache, tempera and acrylic. When wet, the natural white tough surface provides outstanding flatness. Colours can be applied easily, it is lignin and natural white, acid-free, lightfast and extremely age resistant. Hahnemühle Ingres Pastel offers pastel artists the perfect surface. Designed for this specific artistic technique, the Ingres Pastel 100 gsm paper has fine ridges and a slightly rough surface. It allows even colour adherence without using a lot of pressure, producing precise and colour-intensive results. Thanks to the exclusive use of high-quality pigmented colours in the production of this paper, Ingres Pastel boasts exceptional lightfastness.
