When letters become art... The Hahnemühle Hand Lettering Block offers hand lettering enthusiasts a first-class foundation for practising their art. Developed together with hand lettering artists, it has been tailored to their specific needs, forming the basis for outstanding lettering. Brush pens, fine-tip pens and pencils simply glide across the highly smooth paper. Preliminary sketches can be easily rubbed out on the coated surface, and the tips of sensitive brush pens or paintbrushes are preserved. The smooth, closed surface traps colours and prevents bleeding. The brilliant white paper ensures vibrant colours; both monochrome and multicoloured motifs stand out and can be easily scanned and then further processed digitally. Our pads offer the perfect absorption and drying behaviour for brush pens, fine-tip pens and felt-tip pens.

Britannia is particularly well suited for watercolour (wet-in-wet, smooth wash and dry painting), as well as gouache, tempera and acrylic. When wet, the natural white tough surface provides outstanding flatness. Colours can be applied easily, it is lignin and natural white, acid-free, lightfast and extremely age resistant. The Expression Watercolour is a natural white, 100% cotton 300 gsm paper for all wet painting techniques and etching, and features internal and surface sizing. Colours stand out excellently on the paper and impress with their natural brilliance, thus giving every subject its very own unique presence. Masking fluids or masking tape can be used and removed residue-free. While wet colours can be easily corrected or taken off. Expression Watercolour is acid and lignin free, light-resistant and features extreme longevity. The cold pressed surface is eraser-resistant due to the surface sizing.

A highly durable, new-generation paper designed for AURA alcohol-based inks. Available in 170g and in 72cm x 51cm sheets. AURA paper is a synthetic material with the properties of a very smooth, matte off-white paper. A double-sided coating makes the paper waterproof and prevents it from warping when used with inks. Durable and tear-resistant, it is suitable for many mixed media techniques, beautifully capturing the color of the applied ink. It allows for work with a variety of media and pigments, allowing for unique effects.

Sisal natural fiber has long been valued for its strength, especially in the making of rugs, textiles, and ropes. Derived from agave cultivation, it is renewable. Here, we have made it into a fairly lightweight, beautifully translucent paper with a natural look. Its surface, animated by longer, slightly pearlescent fibers, makes it ideal for various projects: Framing - Lighting - Décor - Binding - Box making.
