Fabriano Unica is a paper made of 50% cotton fibres and it is ideal for all printmaking techniques. Moreover, thanks to its softness and flexibility it is perfect for dry techniques as well. Available in 250 gsm, white, this paper compiles with the ISO 9706 regulation (Long Life), Acid Free. Ideal for charcoal, pencil, pastel and sanguigne.

The stability and strength of this board offers excellent flatness when wet. The hard surface offers easy application of colour. Ideal for all wet painting techniques: watercolour – especially wet-in-wet painting, smooth wash and also dry painting – as well as gouache, tempera and acrylic. Natural white, acid free, lightfast and extremely age resistant.

"sumi" means "black ink" and "e" means both "path" and "painting". The natural white paper creates strong contrasts as the brush glides across the surface.
