This 75 gsm Layout Pad for Comic & Illustration is acid free, lignin free and age resistant. Special paper for felt-tipped pens, fibre pens, fineliners and markers. Colours do not bleed. Layout Pad is available in A4, A3 and A2 format each containing 75 sheets.

Manga Layout & Illustration is a white lightweight paper with a closed smooth surface. Even without a light table it can be easily used to trace. Colours don’t blend and even when applied as thick layers they don’t bleed through to the next sheet of the block. Hahnemühle FineArt has designed a special paper for Japanese sumi-e painting. This very absorbent paper is ideal for "freestyle" brush painting. "sumi" means "black ink" and "e" means both "path" and "painting". The natural white paper creates strong contrasts as the brush glides across the surface. Sumi-e is acid free and extremely age resistant.
