Acid-free paper sheets for sketching with charcoal, pastel and graphite.

Created with 100% cotton, this paperboard is indicated for all printmaking techniques (engraving, lithography, silk-screening, xylography and linocuts). It is mould made, size 56x76 with all edges deckled. The watermark is fixed point and placed below right on the sheet. It reproduces the CMF trademark surmounted by a star and enclosed in a circle. In the 7OX100 size the two larger sides are deckled and the watermark runs parallel to them, reproducing the inscription "C. M. FABRIANO 100% COTTON". Tiepolo is pH neutral, assuring inalterability over time.

High quality and resistance to rubbers of any kind, this paper is particularly suitable for students, graphic designers, architects, etc. Disegno 4 professional is produced with 100% certified pulp, coming from forests managed responsibly respecting environmental, social and economic standards. Suitable for: dry techniques (graphite, dry pastel, crayons, china ink, markers, etc).

There is no compromise in quality - the highest standards of artists' pigments allow the highest level of lightfastness. Schmincke's HORADAM® binding medium is Kordofan Gum Arabic from the Sahara region, due to it differing from year to year it is tested and the best of the batch is selected to used with their pigments. They use an optimal amount of oxgall to avoid undesired coloured formations and undissolved pigment, allowing the perfect flow of colour.
