Final varnish for paintings in oil. Glossy; colourless; non- yellowing; age-resistant; fast drying.The product is ready to use, but can be diluted with e.g. turpentine substitute. May only be applied with a suitable varnish brush at room temperature to the layer of oil paint after it has dried completely, i.e. after 8 – 12 month at the earliest.

Fluorecent pigment range that includes finely sieved and highly lightfast pigments in 100 ml jars. Combined with the ready-to-use binders, it is easy to grind individual artists’ colours of oil, acrylic, watercolour, gouache and lino print. Of course, the pigments are also very well suited to other techniques and mixed-media. High lightfastness. Finely sieved .Vivid effects with daylight. Best fluorescent effects with black lights.Schmincke Premium artists’ pigments bear the seal “100% Pigment”. They contain 100% pure, unblended artists’ pigment. 100% Pigment is a guarantee of the highest possible brilliance, colour intensity and coverage.

Binder for own production of water-colours and gouache colours. Dilutable with water; dries to a wiping resistant film, but remains water-soluble. Improves adhesion of undercoats when added to Schmincke water-colours and gouache colours; increases gloss, transparency and intensity of colours.

Schmincke's HORADAM® binding medium is Kordofan Gum Arabic from the Sahara region, due to it differing from year to year it is tested and the best of the batch is selected to used with their pigments. They use an optimal amount of oxgall to avoid undesired coloured formations and undissolved pigment, allowing the perfect flow of colour.

Pasty medium for oil colours. Suitable for prima- and putty-knife painting technique. Preserves the natural tone and buttery character of an oil colour; accelerates drying and supports the through drying of thicker oil layers. There is no change of the product quality based on the colour change of the raw material stand oil. Dosage: 10 to max. 30%

Indian Ink 1912 is a high-quality drawing ink that is perfect for drawing, painting and writing. Based on the historic Schmincke formulas from 1912, also known as "Chinese ink", it offers deep black, absolutely lightfast, waterproof and document-proof characteristics. The ink is characterized by its fluid consistency, which makes it perfect for writing, painting and drawing with various nibs and brushes. The neutral deep black (made from the pigment Pbk7) on a natural basis can be used both pure and diluted with water on smooth, satinised papers such as drawing papers. It dries to a silky gloss finish that makes the artwork particularly appealing. Indian Ink 1912 is available in round glass pipette bottles, each containing 28 ml, as well as in larger 250 ml plastic bottles.
