Schmincke

A warm, white oil colour based on linseed oil for the first layers in oil paintings. Fast drying. Minimizes cracking of colored shades in upper layers. Not for pure use or for mixing – the product tends to yellow. Please use like a “normal” oil colour only on preprimed grounds.

Ενδιάμεσο γυαλιστερό βερνίκι για λάδι σε σπρέι. Δεν επηρεάζει το φρεσκοστεγνωμένο χρώμα. Άχρωμο,δεν κιτρινίζει. Πολύ γρήγορο στέγνωμα! Έτοιμο για χρήση. Απομακρύνεται με νέφτι ή white spirit.

Forms a white, semi-opaque, matt and elastic film; light-resistant and non-aging. Technique: oil, acrylics, gouache Application: gesso-primer is ready for use, may be thinned with water (max. 10 %) and should be applied 2-3 times with a brush on the surface. The temperature of the object should not be less than 8°C

Ready-to-use binder for easy grinding of satin-matt acrylic colours in combination with Schmincke pure artists´ pigments. Dilutable with water, but forms rather quickly a water-resistant film; non-yellowing; age-resistant. Shake before use.

Improves adhesion of undercoats when added to Schmincke acrylic colours instead of water; increases gloss and transparency of the colours.

A black, light-resistant and nonaging primer for oil and acrylic colours with stronger absorbent character similar to a half-chalk ground in student quality. Forms an elastic, matt film after drying. Gesso is ready to use, but can be diluted with max. 10% of water. Thinner: Water

A gently flowing medium for acrylic colours. Forms a clear and glossy film; retards drying; increases gloss and transparency; optimizes adhesive properties. Ideal for large surfaces.
