A white, light-resistant and non-aging, even primer for working with water-colours on greaseless surfaces like linen canvas, card board or wood. Forms an elastic, matt, even film after drying. AQUA watercolour ground, fine is ready to use and should be applied in minimum 3 layers on the ground. If been diluted with water (max. 10%) you have to apply more layers.

The transparent primer allows watercolour painting on grease-free surfaces such as canvas, painting boards, wood as well as on acrylic paintings in which the surface remains visible - in comparison to the existing white watercolour ground, fine - and provides for especially creative options. The watercolour ground, transparent forms an even, matt, elastic and age resistant film. Can be overpainted (or tinted beforehand) with watercolours, gouache or acrylic colours. Thinner: Water

Adhesion promotor for collages with water-colours. Strew or press light materials like textiles, silk paper, pigments or sand into the wet medium. Remains water-soluble like a water-colour. May be used pure or tinted with water-colours. HINT: the product mixed with AQUA fix becomes waterproof.

Binder for own production of water-colours and gouache colours. Dilutable with water; dries to a wiping resistant film, but remains water-soluble. Improves adhesion of undercoats when added to Schmincke water-colours and gouache colours; increases gloss, transparency and intensity of colours.

Ready-to-use binder for easy grinding of translucent water-colours in combination with Schmincke pure artists´ pigments. Dilutable with water; dries to a wiping resistant film, but remains water-soluble.

Final fixative to protect water-colour paintings from humidity and dust based on alcohol. Colourless; non-yellowing, age-resistant; fast drying. (Hint: May increase transparency of water-colour papers!)

An old brush, pen or cotton bud should be used to apply the Masking Fluid as it is extremely difficult to remove from brushes when dry.
